FROM NOW ON SILENCE

In the silent aftermath of Berlin’s architectural transformation, lingering presences haunt the empty corridors of an office building and a soon-to-be-demolished theater, revealing the poetry and melancholy of spaces left behind.
Short Synopsis

From Now On Silence guides the viewer through abandoned interiors in central Berlin—a vacant office and a disused theater on the verge of demolition. Within these deserted spaces, personified auras, unable to part from their former dwellings, drift silently through corridors and hallways. Their paths cross, yet they do not communicate, embodying the lingering memories of place and time.
Through striking cinematography and nuanced sound design, the film creates a meditative dialogue between fragile human presences and the rigid walls that enclose them. The interplay of natural and artificial light, movement, and silence reflects on the impermanence of urban structures and the quiet power of spaces in transition.
A poetic exploration of change and memory, From Now On Silence is an invitation to interpret the echoes of the past in the evolving cityscape.
